BL460 G6 Hangs when mated with SB40c
I have a BL460 G6 blade partnered with an SB40c. During boot, the BL460 gets as far as detecting the P400 Controller in the storage blade, then brings up an error 1785 "no drives configured". It says to run the raid array configuration utility, but the cursor just hangs and never gets to the option to press F8 to run the utility. The server boots fine when not mated to the storage blade. I tried a G5 blade with the same enclosure and I am able to get into the RAID Array configuration utility and I set the arrays. I put the G6 blade back with the storage blade but again, it hangs once it gets to the p400 controller in the storage blade. Anyone have any suggestions as to what can be happening here?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Never mind. The firmware on the SB40c needed to be upgraded.
Thanks.
Thanks.

"in order to update SB40c ROM connect to OA with telnet and run
"Update device blade"
You need to shutdown partner Blade before "
Regarding P400 fw update: you can use online ROM flash for update.
