BL460 G6 unable to configure Windows 2003 boot to SAN
I am trying to install Windows 2003 R2 x32 on a BL460 G6 with boot to SAN. Windows will not see the QMH2462 adapter at setup time. I have the BIOS enabled and did scan at the config util and see my LUN. I downloaded the boot from SAN driver from http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=1844105&prodTypeId=3709945&prodSeriesId=1844104&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1005 and made a floppy image with bfi. If I select F6 and choose to load the driver from floppy, I get QL2300.SYS is corrupt with Windows Setup.
I can load Windows 2003 R2 to the local disk and install the driver and see the SAN however I need to boot from SAN. I attemted to load SmartStart and it only sees the local drive as well.
I have done this before on a G1 and it all worked.
Any suggestions?
