BL460G7 & Debian Squeeze 6.0
I would like to build a high availibility platform, with c7000 blades, by running Linux Debian Squeeze 6.0.1, and connecting them to two cisco 3750 (stackwised'), trough a 802.3ad etherchannel link (I have to use passtrough HP modules). If one of the switch is down, the link is still available, without packet loss.
Did somebody experienced positive feedbacks, about running Debian Squeeze on BL460G7 blades ?
Thanks in advance !

Re: BL460G7 & Debian Squeeze 6.0
HP doesn't have any official driver packages for Debian Squeeze available yet, and apparently the NIC driver version in Squeeze's default kernel has issues with the G7 blades.
In this thread, a fellow ITRC member Jacob Lundberg seems to have been developing a workaround. He's kindly sharing his results with us:

But the official HP word for Debian Squeeze on Proliant hardware seems to be "not yet".
