Re: Blade C7000

Hi
Install power supplies based on number of supplies needed
├в Two power supplies
├в ┬в Populate bays 1 and 4
├в Three power supplies
├в ┬в Populate bays 1, 2, and 4
├в Four power supplies
├в ┬в Populate bays 1, 2, 4, and 5
├в Five power supplies
├в ┬в Populate bays 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5
├в Six power supplies
├в ┬в One in each bay
For the blade, install blade blanks in any unused device bays and join two blade blanks to create a full-height blank
There is an utility BladeSizer

Re: Blade C7000

You need:
- 2 power supplys without redandency
- 3 power supplys for redandency N+1
- 4 power supplys for redandency N+N (AC Redundant)
- 6 fan

You may use 4 fan coolers (fan bays 4,5,9,10), but better have 6 fans (fan bays 3,4,5,8,9,10).
Using more fans can allows the fans to spin slower to move the same volume of air, so each fan uses less power.
For examle, HP talk, that eight fans are almost always more power efficient than four fans.
