Blade chassis c7000, clear syslog for all blades

to see syslog for all blades in the chassis i run: show syslog server all (from OA)
is there is a command to erase all logs from every blade from the OA?

Hi Vasili,

You can do this with RIBCL. It allows you to create an XML script, then push that script to all blades in an enclosure from the OA CLI using the HPONCFG command.

Check this guide, specifically the "CLEAR_EVENTLOG" section:

good luck

I kinda got it working:
my_dev> HPONCFG NOAUTOLOGIN all << <*>

Problem is, that it will not clear IML, only ILO2.

Re: Blade chassis c7000, clear syslog for all blades

Sorry, I misunderstood the question. To clear the IML logs you can use the tool:

CPQIMLV

which is located in the directory:

\Program Files\Compaq\Cpqimlv

by default.

Use the -m switch to connect to remote machines and use the -clear switch to delete the IML entries. Keep in mind this is an unrecoverable action...

good luck, points are appreciated if the answers help!
