Re: Blade server ILO extremely slow to respond

First I would check for correct address settings, e.g. mask and gateway, and for duplicated addresses.

Hope this helps!

Re: Blade server ILO extremely slow to respond

Alan,

do you mean the response in the CLI (Telnet session) is slow or are you talking about the browser based access via http to the iLO/MP ?

Did you tried to reset the iLO or eventually upgrade to a later version of the firmware (which will also reset the iLO in the end)?
Same goes for the OA, if the iLO reset does not help, a OA reset might clear up this issue, assuming you have this slow response from more then one pc/workstation in your network.

This is the last public available sysfw version for the bl860c blade :

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=3709945&prodSeriesId=3331044&swItem=ux-80474-1&prodNameId=3351095&swEnvOID=54&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=2

This is however a offline upgrade that does more then just the iLO f/w, it's a bundle that does the serverblade systemfw and iLO fw.

HTH
