BladeSystem c7000 problem connecting til Blade iLO using SSL
Hello there.
I'm trying to get SSL certificates loaded into our BladeSystem c7000 with BL460c blades. It is no problem getting the certificates onto either the onboard administrator or the blades them self.
The problem is that the Blade iLO request a certificate based on the iLO system name, and the onboard administrator connects using IP address. This gives the usual annoying certificate error in the browser.
How do I make OA connect via iLO name instead of IP? Or how can I make iLO request a certificate with IP in the common name field?
Kind regards and TIA,
Henrik

Re: BladeSystem c7000 problem connecting til Blade iLO using SSL
Does anyone have a solution for this? I am having the same issue. I can setup the ssl cert CN for the ilo, however when you go into the ILO from the OA, the link usues the IP address and not the CN, I cannot see any option to use the CN and not the IP address.
I am using DHCP, if I were to use EBIPA would it use the CN?
