Hi,
I've the following configuration.
1 c7000 enclosure
4 ProLiant BL680c G5 (bay 1 to bay 4)
3 ProLiant BL460c G1 (bay 13 to bay 14)
I want to boot the ISO-file of the Firmware Maintenance CD 8.30 using iLO2.
This works on BL460c G1 but not on ProLiant BL680c G5. Does someone know the reason??
Thanks, Maarten.

Re: Booting firmware maintenance cd
Addition:
On BL680c G5 after booting the CD I can see the page on which I can choose between Firmware Maintenance 8.30 and Boot from Hard Disk, when loading is 100% I get a black screen.

Solution
Maarten,
Please make sure you have <64GB of memory in your BL680G5 server. There is a bug with the FWCD 8.30 where it cannot boot on servers with 64GB of memory or more. This is fixed in the FWCD 8.40 which will be out in February.
Regards,
Michael
