we checked all possible settings for that:
- recreated SSH keys
- reset of OAs
- reseated both OA between slots
- fw OA is 2.12 and fw on blades are current (2.17)

still this message: "SSH IS DISABLED ON THIS BLADE'S ILO PROCESSOR"

Can you SSH into the iLO/MP from outside the chassis?

can you check the following:

- telnet into the MP/iLO
- go to CM (Command Menu)
- type sa
- collect the 'sa' command output and post
it here on the forum.

It should look like this:

[bl860c-ilo1] MP:CM> sa

SA

This command allows you to modify MP access configuration.

Current Set Access Configuration:
T - Telnet : Enabled
W - Web SSL : Enabled
H - SSH : Enabled
I - IPMI over LAN : Disabled
C - Command Mode : MP Menu


If SSH is disabled here, you get to see the message in the OA DVD gui. If it is enabled, try to disable it, check the OA GUI. Then enable SSH again via the comend line 'sa' command to see if it makes a difference.

If i disable SSH via iLO http GUI or comamnd line , i do indeed get the message you have.

just to be sure, can you also supply the SYSREV output of the MP/iLO ?

- telnet into the MP
- choose CM (Command Menu)
- type SYSREV

someone kindly informed me and i verified it, this issue is solved when you provide a IP address in the Gateway field in the Enclosure Bay IP Adressing (EBIPA) of the OA GUI in the "Enclosure Settings".

Hello,
I'm facing almost the same problem. I have a Blade Servers one of them the iLo is working on it and the other one it doesn't work.

When i type the DNS Name or the IP Address, it iLO Page appears when but as soon as it Redirects to HTTPS, i got Page cannot be Displayed.

Is there anyway i can Disable the SSL on this iLO or I can renew the Certificate?

Hi All,

I have the same issue with even c3000 DVD and if i connect DVD drive to C7000 enclosure also. OA firmware is 2.25 and Blade is BL860c with 3.06.

One time it worked when i disable the SSH and enable the SSH after some time and rebooted the OA. Again after sometime it got into unknown state with the same msg "SSH is disabled on ilo".

Could anybody help on this.

Siva,

make sure the default gateway IP address is correct in the OA TCP/IP network details and in the EBIPA TCP/IP configuration.

This adresses this particular issue, there is no changes to be made in the Ilo/MP configuration of the BL860C.

Hi Kris,

Thanks for your support.. Issue got resolved..

The issue is The Gateway assigned to iLO MP is dummy gateway.

We tried to set the OA IP as gateway to iLO MP and found DVD is working fine.

Also checked with out gateway IP of OA, it is working fine. Only thing is The Gateway IP of iLO MP should be pingable.
