C7000 connection to Storageworks arrays

We have purchased 15 C7000 enclosures fully populated and ready to deploy. We have a small problem now, our SAN group is saying they can't stand up the SAN space for us until the beginning of next year. I pretty much know the answer to this but I will ask it anyway....is it possible to make a connection between these servers and an external storage array that isn't a SAN?

Well ...iSCSI could be the answer, but adding that functionality to the storages is costly manouver.

Unfortunately in order to utilize a SAN you must have a server be connected to that SAN through its fabric.
If it is a fiber-channel SAN or a iSCSI SAN you need to have that connection in place to the SAN controller in order to access the blocks of information that will be stored within the SAN.

If its just a single server.....

Slot in a PCI Blade next to a server and fit a standard PCI array controller and then connect that to MSA disk arrays.
