Hi,
we are putting two new chassis is a DC and we are thinking of stacking them. I am looking at what benifits stacking actually gives us.
I assume for ESXi that people are using this for vmotion but what benifit does it really give me cnsidering vmotion will to push the traffic over the physical network if needed.
People also mention upgrading the firmware all at once is a benifit, what happens if it goes wrong, you then kill both chassis, if they are not stacked you could do one at a time.
Could someone please explain what other benifits we get with stacking?
thanks
