Cannot connect HP VC to SAN

Hi,

I've got 2 HP VC 8GB 24-port FC Modules in Bays 3 & 4 in a c7000 chassis.

I can create the fabrics but I cannot get the switch to talk to my SAN. Connector Status = NOT-LOGGED-IN. Everything on the SAN looks ok.

Please reseat the fibre cable at VC side.

And what is this "SAN" You are connecting ?

NPIV enabled on the SAN switch ports?

Found the fault. Despite the engineer telling me the fibre was plugged in to port 1, it was infact plugged in to port 3! I re-assinged the SAN Fabric to port 3 and it all now works :)
