Configuring uplinks with CX4 ports on Virtual Connect 1/10Gb Ethernet module
Hi,
We have a Blade System Chassis with 2 by Virtual Connect 1/10Gb Ethernet modules. Each ethernet module has 2 by 10Gb CX4 uplink ports.
Is it possible to configure each CX4 uplink port to connect to a different network, or do the ports have to be connected redundantly i.e. port 1 switch 1 to network A, port 1 switch 2 to network A etc.?
Thanks
Andrew

Re: Configuring uplinks with CX4 ports on Virtual Connect 1/10Gb Ethernet module
Andrew:
the 10GB CX4 uplinks on Virtual Connect are independent switch ports and can be connected to different networks. They do not have to be connected redundantly.
