Connecting a Physical HP Server to external Virtual Connect Port

Hi,

Could anyone please let me know if they have any experience with connecting a Physical rack server to any of the external ports on a VC Flex-10 switch module?

We would like the physical server to gain access to the network through the Virtual Connect switches.

Virtual connect modules is not a switche, it is a layer 2 bridging device, which forms layer2 bridge between the server and data center network devices, so simple answer NO you can not connect physical server to external VC ports, you will need a 1gig switch in the middle, hope this will help you.
