DC power distribution in Telco rack
Stephen had a Telco power question:

I have a customer who has one of our NEBS compliant Telco C7000 solutions complete with an HP DC distribution panel in the rack. The end user wants to add 3rd party switches to the same rack and dist unit.
Does anyone know if there are any special considerations in doing this? For example, if the C7000 PSU’s can share the same DC circuit with other devices up to circuit capacity. Any wisdom is appreciated.

The customer should add a 30 amp breaker kit and run a separate circuit from the breaker panel.
