Emulex LPe1105 Driver for Solaris 10 X64 and X86.

My Server is BL 685c and I can not find the Emulex LPe1105 driver for Solaris 10 X64 and x86.

Hi,

I had the same problem : turns out that Solaris 10 x64 already has a driver for the LPe1105.

Note however that there used to be two drivers for Emulex LightPulse cards : Sun's San Foundation Software driver (emlxs) and Emulex own LightPulse driver (lpfc) and in functionality they differ somewhat (the device names differ, the config file is different /kernel/drv/emlxs vs /kernel/drv/lpfc). For Solaris x64 only the San Foundation driver is available, which comes default with Solaris 10.

Did you guys get your cards going? I also have the same problem! Is it certain that the emlxs driver actually supports the LPe1105 (HP A8002A) HBAs?
I have couple of those installed in two different servers but the driver is never loaded (checking with modinfo) and not a sign of the cards whatsoever (logs, luxadm, cfgadm etc).

The HP product-pages doesn't mention Solaris at all, neither does the emulex pages for the emlxs driver:

I'm running Solaris 10 5/08 with the latest emlxs patch installed (120223-28) on DL585 G2.

Any clues or pointers greatly appreciated!
