EVA VDISK TAKES VERY LONG TO BEEN SEEN ON HOST

I have a eva8100, there any many hosts connected to it, windows, hpux, sun all this all are fine.

we have just bought a new c-class blade enclousre with virtual connect fc/etherent switch.

when i present a vdisk to these new blades, its takes extremely very long for it to see it.
The blades are running redhat linux enterprise 4 & 5.

its also takes very long for eva to see this hosts (wwn)

can anyone pls advice.
