Gbe2c SFP to fiber switch connection trouble
I have a fiber switch (SC MM) that I am trying to connect to our Gbe2c MiniGBIC expansion port. I have activity and connection on the SC switch side, but no lights or connection on the Gbe2c. The port is exclusive and the corresponding Ethernet port is not being used. I've checked the specifications and MM is supported. I'm not too familiar with other specifications for fiber, but cannot figure out why there is no activity on the Gb2ec end. I'm using an HP SFP module to eliminate a third party compatibility issue. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated!
TIA,
Chris

Re: Gbe2c SFP to fiber switch connection trouble
What kind of Fiber switch do you have? Is this a FC SAN Switch?
Do you have the c-class c7000 enclosure with the GBE2c Ethernet switch installed?
