HP 4Gb VC-FC Module In-Band IPv4 Address: 0.0.0.0

I had a power outage and after power was restored, one of our FC module stopped working, I thought I needed to get a replacement so I did and after inserting that replacement It sill did not work.  I tried to update the firmware but noticed that I could not connect to the module noted below because the In-Band IPv4 Address was set to all zero's.  Even after I apply the correct IP and have done resets, power off/on even remove, reinseart.

My next steps is to try and remove all blades and factory reset my entire C7000 blade chassie.   I cannot upgrade my firmware for everything as we have old HP BL460G7 blades and they do not support any of the newer firmware also all my blades are host to VMware ESXi 6.0.   This is a production environment and I could use anyones guidance.  thank you.  Below is basic hardware info. if more is needed please let me know.

Re: HP 4Gb VC-FC Module In-Band IPv4 Address: 0.0.0.0

Hi Allen,

Good day!

From the shared details I suspect like you might have not installed the VC FC module with the same version which is installed in the corresponding VC FC Module.Do you see amy incompatible firmware error in the VCM?
You can proceed towards upgrading the firmwares on the entire enclosure including servers as BL 460cG7.
Below Is the HPE ProLiant Server Blades - Compatibility with HPE BladeSystem c7000 and c3000 Enclosures and Firmware guide for your refernce.
Reference Guide : https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=mmr_sf-EN_US000050596

Are you really planning to reset the Enclosure to factory default?
Please Note: This is going to wipe off all the configuration and settings. Make sure you have the complete back up of the VCM and OA.
upgrading the firmware to the latest and then restoring the backup also will not work.

Suggestion : First take a complete back up and upgarde the firmware and check for the issues you have observed.

Cheers
