hp C series mom management pack
We have just purchased a C series bladecenter. We do all our hardware and software monitoring using Microsoft MOM. Does HP offer hardware monitoring of their bladecenter with one of their management packs or do I need to go through a third party vendor? excsoftware for example?

with blades you have some features already included compare to DL ML server, ILO2, OA SIM will do management
Download and install SIM check over for all options and functions, if there will some advanced features either in ILO or SIM it will tell you License needed, some licenses are free some you need purchase, just really depend what you expecting from Management tools you might find all basic features with basic install.

http://www.hp.com/servers/manage --> Insight Management Integrations --> Microsoft
...for the MOM integration module. It would be best to use in conjunction with HP SIM as MOM doesn't have the ability to do visualization / association of blades to enclosures.
