I have a c7000 BLade enclosure with a BL480c Blade installed in the far right hand slot - slot 8/22. To instal this Blade the device bay shelf had to be removed since it is a full height Blade.
The device bay shelf reached across slots 7/21 and 8/22.
I now want to install 2 by BL460c half height Blades into slots 7 and 21.
Is this possible without the device bay shelf ? Or how do I work around this?
Thanks
Andrew

Solutionsurely you mean 7/15 & 8/16
If you put a full height in 8/16 you "can" put half height blades in 7 & 15.
But HP will not support the blade while it is in slot 7 as there is nothing to stop it falling/vibrating out. As the catch is on the shelf that was removed.
Blade in 15 still has a catch at the bottom of the enclosure.
