HP NIC teaming limited to 2 cards
Hi,
we have a blade server with windows 2003. when we start the "hp network config utility" to setup NIC teaming, we can see only 2 cards at a time, even if er have 4 configured NICs on the server?
is the teaming limited to 2 interfaces? or is there a problem with the system?
Regards,
Farid.

Re: HP NIC teaming limited to 2 cards
hi,
check this docu :
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/servers/networking/TeamingWP.pdf
check the configuration :
Figure 4-20 Dual Channel & Dynamic Dual Channel provide full load balancing and switch redundancy
if you have 4 NIC from the prolinat connected to 2 separated SWITCHES them you could probably use it as on the picture.

Re: HP NIC teaming limited to 2 cards
Hello,
In fact, the adapters that were not visible in the NC were NC112T ones, that do not work with NCU prior to version 9.50.
Upgrading the Ethernet drivers and the NCU to version 10.0 solved the problem.
Thanks and Regards,
Farid.
