HP Proliant BL460c G6 - Firmware upgrade

Hi

Need to upgrade HP blade center server Proliant BL460c G6 firmware. It's currently running with old (2011/12) bios. I tried downloading from HPE support site but it is asking for warranty details. Unfortunately these servers are out of warranty. I contacted HPE support team for paid support as well, but they have not reverted back as yet.

Does any one have the latest firmware for these blade servers BL460c G6?

The problem, I am facing is that the servers generate many SMI. When we try some other blades mainly from IBM, I am getting 0 SMI. The performance of HP blades is very low compared to the equivalent IBM blades with the same configuration. I am using CentOS 7.4

An immediate response will be highly appreciable.

Thanks

Re: HP Proliant BL460c G6 - Firmware upgrade

i have recently downloaded from HP website. If you have any server with warranty, you should be able to download. it can be either G7/G8..i downloaded for G8 and it works fine for all our servers in our environemnt (G6/G7/G8/G9).

OS flavour is not a concern as i have an .iso file, can map and install it.

Note :Downtime is mandatory for firmware upgrade.
