Just setup the blade server and was wondering, how to change the bios name of the server or rather the switch name as I canтАЩt since to find the path to change it.

Re: HP ProLiant C class
Are you using Virtual Connect? Are you using the 3000 or 7000 chassis? Have you setup the Onboard Admin?

Re: HP ProLiant C class
Try this,
Enter the ILO directly, or through the OA, preferably through the OA.
On the system status page, Click on the "Server Name" Change the ILO server name there.
Next click the "Administration" Tab, and under settings on the left hand side select Network. Here you can change the name of ILO Sub interface or host name.
Keep in mind this for the server ILOs. For the Enclosure, you will need to access the ├в On Board Admin├в , once there; all of the enclosure settings are on the left hand menu under "Enclosure Settings" and "Active Onboard Administrator"
If you are trying to name or configure one of the switch modules, you should be able to enter the module management pages or Virtual Connect, through the ├в On Board Admin├в
Can you access the OA "On Board Administrator" ?
