HP VC 8GB port mapping
Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question but new to the HP blade's. Ive got a C7000 with 2 flex 10 and 2 8GB fibre modules installed, I can see the port mappings on the flex 10 module and im able to connect to the blade servers over tcp/ip. My problem is that the port mapping for the FC module is blank, Could anyone let me know what im doing wrong, the VC firware is 2.30.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: HP VC 8GB port mapping
Hi Stephen,
First off all: verify your FC interconnects are in Bay 3 and 4, and the blade server have their FC mezz. on port 1.
Please also provide a pic of a blade port mapping.
kind regards
Markus

Re: HP VC 8GB port mapping
You can either move your HBAs to mezz 1 or move your VC-FCs to bays 5 and 6. The mezzanines and interconnects are hard-coded through the enclosure midplane. Check the Mezzanines section here for more info:

If you are using HP-assigned WWNs they will change upon moving hardware.
good luck, points are appreciated if the answers help!
