iLo 4 v2.54 update with iLo doesn't work

Hello,

I have download the latest version of iLo (v2..54), unpack cp032620.scexe and rename this file to ilo4_254.bin. Then I try it to update with iLo. Following error is coming:

The last firmware update attempt was not successful. Ready for the next update.

Any idea?

Renaming an sxece file produce a bin file?

I don't belive so (or you haven't done things that way...so please re-phrase what you did): you need to unpack the scexe file to see its content (so extract its content to see files archived into it) just to manage the ILO4 Firmware bin file you want to upload through ILO's web interface...something similar happens if you have the ILO4 rpm Firmware file and you just want the ILO Firmware bin file archived into it.

It works now. There was a failure by extract from the download file.
