Information require on Blade server installation and configuration.

Hi,

We have got C7000 enclosure for Blade 860c i2 servers. We are going to have 5 Blades 860c i2 in that enclosure. As onsite technician is going to do and installation.

I am new to Blade servers and i am looking for some documents on Blade Server  installation and configuration. And also how to manage the Blade server remotely. And what all we need to know about the Blade server connectivity in terms of LAN,Storage and Virtual Connect Flex-10.

Some quick answers to your questions.

To install you'll need either a network deployment tool like HP's Server Deployment (altiris) or a USB DVD and the dongle that comes with the server to install locally.

To manage your server i'll use ILO may need a licens depending on what you need to to with it.
