Interconnect io module is not supported by HP

Device identification data error
and
The device is not supported by Hewlett-Packard


On c7000 getting these errors above. I have re-seated the IC, but has not cleared the error. Is there anything that can be done?

Have you restarted the Onboard Admin Module?

What is the interconnect you are using?

I have seen it once, it was CISCO 3020, it was due to seating problem. I removed the IC and Inserted it with little force ..it started working fine ...
If you insert it very slowly it you may see this. I would suggest remove and Insert again.

Yes, I reseated with force. HP is coming to replace it.
