Is connector of serverblade and expansion blade x4 ??

we have a c7000 enclosure with Prliant DL460 G6 servers and attached a Intel 10G Card (part number: EXPX9501AFXLR (Single-Port 10GBASE-LR)) using an expansion bay. the card's connector is PCI-E x8 but lspci command says that card is x4 but maximum achivable speed is x4.
It seems that connector of expansion blade and server blade is x4 instead of x8. is this true?

If you read the Q&A of the expansion case you'll see that the total bandwidth for the box is equivalent to 4x.

Thanks a alot! but this seems terrible! I wonder if there be some alternatives to carry 10G traffic to server blades!

And now, another question! I didn't find any explicit answer to this question: this x4 PCI-E is of gen 1.1 or gen 2?

The x4 lanes to the PCI Expansion Blade are Gen 1.

Apart from the 10G LOM already present in the DL460 G6, there are a number of add-on Mezzanine 10G NICs available - among them are the NC532i, NC542i and NC552i (from memory, could be faulty).
