Looking for "HP 1/10Gb VC-Enet Module" firmware

Hello,

I am trying to determine if I have the latest firmware for the HP 1/10Gb VC-Enet Module Virtul Connect (and associated SAN module) installed. I have 2.32 and from what I can tell 2.34 is the lastest. I am confused because there is also a 3.15 version out there but I believe is for a different model (I think Flex-Connect???).

Does anyone know if 2.34 is the latest version?

Also, is this the correct order of updating:

1) Update server BIOS in all blades
2) Update server ILO in all blades
3) Update OA's firmware to version 3.21
4) Update VirtualConnect's firmware to version 2.34 (assuming that is the latest).

Welcom to the forum. The latest VC firmware is Version 3.15. You can download it from here.

I update the ILO first (and separately from the bios update).

Be aware of the browser requirements for moving from 2.34 to 3.x virtual connect as it requires active x.

Wierd - I was having this exact problem, and it first happened yesterday:

So I was all set to update all of our firmware, and then we got a notice from HP today about the above problem! What wierd timing. We have been running our configuration for a long time and never seen this problem before...and then the very next day HP sends out an alert on it.

Anyway - I removed the DNS settings and it fixed my problem. So I guess I am not updating my firmware now.
