NC364m - Mezannine Slot?

Is the NC364m considered a 4x card? If so and I put it in mezannine slot #1 it should work with the VC Ethernet interconnections I have in IC bay 3 and bay 4 correct?

Re: NC364m - Mezannine Slot?

Hi,

please note that if you install the card in mezannine slot 1 you can use only 2 of the ports of the NIC - ports 2&4, to use the 4 ports you have to install it in mez slot 2...
This is noted in the same doc on page 5 under Note 4 and in other docs...

Regards,
Pac

Re: NC364m - Mezannine Slot?

That only goes for half-height blades though correct? If I install it in mezannine 1 on a full height blade it will use all 4 ports right?

Re: NC364m - Mezannine Slot?

On a half height blade it should go in mezz#2 and you need to fill interconnects 5,6,7 & 8.

On a full height i configure them in mezz#1 and you fill interconnects 3 & 4.

There is a really good pdf diagram in the zip file for the Ethernet Connectivity Tool.

If you look at this then you really can see what connects to where.
