network crashes when any single blade is rebooted

I have a C7000 blade center with Bl460c blades and a gbe2c switch. All blades are running RHEL5. Anytime I reboot one blade the entire network goes down. Systems are still up behind the switch, but all comms to the outside appear to go into a looop.

Has anyone else experience anything like this, where rebooting one blade takes the network offline?
