Network issue in bl860c
Hello,
We have C7000 Blade system has few Bl465c and connected to network ( network A) and its working fine. The enclosure has HP 1GB ethernet pass thro module.
I added new blade Bl860c and wanted to connect the blade in different network (network B). I checed the port mapping. It looks good. when I connect the port into network B, I am not getting link up. But when I connect the port into the network A, I am getting the link.
Here is my question, Does all the blades need to be in the same network? If it can be connected to different network, how to do that ? expert's advice please...
Thanks,
Karthik

Re: Network issue in bl860c
The 1 GB Pass-Thru module ports only work at 1 GB Full-duplex speed. Check that the switch on network B is capable of that.

Re: Network issue in bl860c
Its a good catch. Network B switch was not a 1GB compatiable. I have connected in a different switch. It does work. Thanks a lot.
