Network Problem with Solaris 10 and BL460c G6 / NC360m

How do I have to configure the network interfaces in solaris 10 to get the network connection working?
Solaris detected the 2 pysical interfaces as e1000g0 and e1000g1. But ifconfig shows different mac addresses to the address range given in the virtual connect manager. I didn't get any network connection with several example configurations (single interface up with address, failover configuration with two interfaces). the network ip address 192.168.0.50 from the interface could be pinged from localhost, but not from another host. There are no firewall or switch restrictions in the network enabled.

thx

e1000g0 and e1000g1 are your NC360m NICs not the LOM NICs (nc532i).

In order for VC to apply virtual MACs to your nc360M ports, you need to have 4 Network Connections in your server profile. The nc360m ports will be the 3rd and 4th network connection in the server profile and need to be assigned to a VC Network you have defined.

And to get the NC532i ports recognized by Solaris, you may have to install a driver, for the NC532i is driven (in linux land at least) by the bnx2x driver, not the e1000/e1000e driver. I'm reasonably confident it would be a separate driver under Solaris.
