NIC Speed Configuration
I've HP C7000 blade encloser with BL490G6 servers installed on it.As the both the NIC port of server is gigabit, my application is not running. My application software required dedicated 100mbps nic speed define manually. When connected 100mbps cisco switch though 1Gb Ethernet Passthru Module, network port LED could not glow green. But when I connected with gigabit cisco switch only it is working. Now how to configure server nic, passthrough module shold be manually configure 100mbps so that my application works normally. Is it possible to run blade servers with gigabit passthrough moddule on speed of 100 mbps?

Re: NIC Speed Configuration
No, it's not possible.
The 1 Gb Ethernet Passthru Module is gigabit-only: it does not work with lower speeds.

Re: NIC Speed Configuration
Why does your application require a 100Mbit/s NIC speed? Is it incapable of throttling its own transmissions?
