Not able to install HP-UX 11.31 on BL860C

Hello Expert,

I am trying to install hp-ux 11.31 on bl860C integrity server.

I am login through serial on MP and trying to install teh OS from media using external dvd drive.

But at the EFI shell I am not getting disk detected itself:

blk0:\> map -r
Device mapping table
  blk0 : Acpi(HWP0002,PNP0A03,0)/Pci(2|1)/Usb(0, 0)

I tried reconnecting but still getting same o/p

Please guide me how to proceed from here.

Atatching drivers and devices O/P for reference.

This could be a problem with your DVD drive or media.

Try if vMedia works for you.

You may also try to connect the drive not to the SUV cable, but to the OA.

Thanks for the  response. It looks the issue was with the external DVD drive. Tried to install using the virtual media using OA and worked fine for me.
