OA show ws460c as bl460c

Hello!

2 blades WS460C were ordered and installed to customer's enclosure.
But OA shows that one of them is regular bl460.
Is it firmware issue or wrong motherboard?

It's the same system board used in the BL and the WS.

A wrong p/n has been entered in the RBSU (BIOS), or it hasn't been changed.

If #12 is the wrong model shown.
reboot WS
Press F9 for RBSU
Locate where you change s/n and p/n
(Under advanced or service)
Correct th p/n (Remember to use upper case)

There is no information about it in administrator/user/service guide and replacing broshure.
Do you know how to change access level?

No need to change access level.

I just cant remember in wich sub menu, to find it.

I'll try to find some documentation.

It shuold be in 1 of the followng submenus:

Maintenance
Service

I'm on site. And see that the second blade has the same part number.
Logs and 2 screens in attach. Last logs were sent from customer and were false. )

In bios there are 2 options - serial and product ID
Product ID is 580139-B21 on both.

Hmmm. Strange.
I lookedup, the p/n + s/n on itrc warrenty checker.

It is the correct p/n's for WS460c G6 CTO.

You could try to check everything on the ILO's.

Could be, you need to go to latest OA fw, if not allready there.

Sorry no better ideas.

FWs are last.
As I understand, there is no diference between servers then names. Isn't it?

1. If graphics mezzanine card is installed on blade, it would detect as WS460c G6 and Remote console mode is available under system options menu on RBSU.
2. If no graphics mezzanine card is installed on blade, it would detect as BL460c G6 and Remote console mode is unavailable under system options menu on RBSU.
