On a BL495 can you use SATA drives instead of SSD drives

I'm trying to configure a failover cluster out of two BL495's and a SBC600c
1 step ... can I use SATA instead of SSD's ?
2 Can I use the SBC600c for the quorum disk and the shared storage?
Thanks!

Yes, any P4xx supports SATA in a SAS slot just fine. Usually it will back down the speed by 1 notch though, so a P41x that is SAS 6Gb will only do SATA 3Gb and a P40x which is SAS 3 will only do SATA 1.5

SB600c, I assume you mean the Storageworks 600?
If you present iSCSI LUNs from 600 to BL495x2, then sure it will work.

Direct attached SAS like SB40c and D2200sb only connect to the blade server to their immediate left and therefore are not shareable.
