Power Best Practice: 3 phase or single phase?

One of our customers is building a small datacenter. They wanted some advice from HP with respect to which power supply they should use – 3 phase or single phase.

They have HP gear like C7000, 3 PAR and DL servers in their existing DC which they intend to shift to the new DC. They would also procure additional hardware for their new DC.

Single phase power supplies with 3-phase PDUs (Power Distribution Unit) gives them the most flexibility.
