Power management controller firmware on BL460C G1

I've always used the HP Firmware Maintenance CD to locally update the firmware on all our BL460C G1's which works fine.
But I have noticed the firmware revision of the power management controller has never changed; it's still 0.5.

I know the maintenance CD has the scexe package with the latest version but it isn't getting installed for whatever reason.

Does the controller on the G1's not need to be upgraded or something?

Just noticed another thread pointing me towards text in the rack firmware page in OA.

"The Power Management Controller version is only available from ProLiant iLO 2 version 1.77 and later. Power Management Controller firmware version 0.5 does not require an upgrade. The server blade must be power-cycled after upgrading the Power Management Controller version."

Looks like an update isn't required.

Yes Dave,
G1 blades do not upgrade it, it always stays on 0.5 firmware. Only newer blades (G5 and above) have newer firmware.
