Problems with the start /during sessions of OS Windows 2003 -> BL460c / c7000 Enclosure and SAN
Hi,
First of all a short overview about our systems
1 x HP Blade Enclosure c7000
3 x HP ProLiant BL460c 2.66GHz
3 x HP ProLiant BL460c 3.00GHz
OS: Windows server 2003
We do not use local harddrive's on the Server for the OS Windows Server 2003 (64bit) -> We configured the Server with the HP StorageWorks Documentation "Booting Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server x64 Edition systems from storage are network application note" So we use our SAN for the OS.
We have now for 3 month this blade server but for 3 times now, there is abnormal problem.
Problem Description
If we logon to the Server (with ILO), the System is very slow. We have to wait 2 or 4 minutes before we can open a program / the explorer or we can do nothing-> the utilisation of the processors are very small (0 –10 %) and we have enough memory. So we have to restart the Server but, when we see the start screen from windows server 2003 ( with the rafter) we have to wait between 1 or 4 hours before the system will be back.
The problem concerns all server in the Enclosure -> at the same time.
Is there anybody how can help us?
Best regards and thanks for your help
Marcus Müller
