ProLiant BL460c G7 with Flex fabric with Oracle Virtual Server

Hello,

We have a new BL 460G7 server racked on a virtual Connect enclosure with flex fabric.

We have installed Oracle Virtual Server 2.2 on that server, but unable to see the FC devices. 

Please let us know if there are any drivers available for Oracle Virtual Server 2.2 avaiable for Flex fabric modules for BL 460G7.

Hi Srividhya,

There are no such drivers for FC or VC devices.  Operating system cannot see these devices because they are installed in an Enclosure and not directly connected to each server.

Onboard Administrator will configure the FC or VC devices.

May be you should go through the OA or VC or FC user guides to know more.

Create Virtual Connect domain and server profiles. Connect flexfabric modules to upstream lan / san switches. zone server profile WWNs with storage targer WWN ( single initiator).
