remote connection issues to system management homepage

I have a number of BL460C servers that will not open the system management homepage remotely e.g via HP SIM or web browser. The NICs have more than 1 allocated IP address. The issue is that SIM records 1 of the IP addresses, while the local system management homepage is only answering on port 2381, on a different IP address. I notice there is a section on the system management homepage to bind to specific IP addresses(5), but this doesnt make any difference. I guess the only other option is to get SIM to point to a specific IP? Can this be done?
