Removed a nic Mezzanine on my 460c g6 blade and now system management gives me an alert

I Removed a nic Mezzanine card which gives me two extra nics out of my 460c g6 blade to another one in another chassis since the orginal blade did not need the two extra nics. Since i removed the mezanine card, I have a system management alert saying an ethernet link failure in bay 2. I just don't understand why its not refreshing itself and just seeing that its not there and that its ok.  I have allready tried to update firmware and psp and refreshed the system management page. It did not work. Any ideas on how i can get the alert message to go away.
