Secure Digital Card Slot on G6 Series blades?
Curiosity has overcome me. Why do we see a SD slot on our bl460c g6's?
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13238_na/13238_na.pdf
What can we use this for now and in the future? Is it a feature? Can we boot to SD?

Re: Secure Digital Card Slot on G6 Series blades?
play and install esx Vmware etc on it
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/servers/software/vmware-esx3i/index.html
HP supported blank flash devices (USB key and SD card without software image ) are available to be used for virtualization with VMware ESXi. For specific instructions on how to access the internal port and initially set up and configure the HP ProLiant server to host virtual machines using the HP VMware ESxi see the server documentation included with the server. HP's award winning support includes one-stop shopping for all your hardware, VMware and HP software support. HP Support is also available and recommended for supported guest and host operating systems.
This is how we thank in the forum

Re: Secure Digital Card Slot on G6 Series blades?
HP version of Citrix XenServer installs seamlessly to a 2GB SD Card. If you're doing something other than VMWare or XenServer I believe the current maximum size is 32GB which might be good enough for your situation.
