Upgrade C7000 VC with lastest version (4.60) & OneView
Hello,
I have some C7000 enclosures & i want to pass them on the last version.
OA to 4.70 (OK through the web access of OA with the .bin file)
VC to 4.60.
Like we using OneView, we can only do it through a SPP.
I try the last offical SPP 2017.07.1 from HP but OneView doesnt recognize it.
I try to make a custom version with HP SUM, but it's failed, because .rpm are not recognize & it's impossible to find the .scexe file for OA or VC in latest version.
Someone already realize an update to VC 4.60 on C7000 with OneView ?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Bruno

Re: Upgrade C7000 VC with lastest version (4.60) & OneView
The firm/software has now a different location inside SPP.
Update OneView.
http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-a00020829en_us
or
meanwhile create a custom SPP that includes the components based on the older SPP.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Upgrade C7000 VC with lastest version (4.60) & OneView
Hello,
Thanks for this quick answer Torsten !
Indeed, like we still in version 1.2.x.... i'm block in this way.
Are some users already in 2.00.09 or 3.10.xx version ?
No big issues reports ?
There is any others way to upgrade VC (manage by Oneview) other than Oneview himself ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Upgrade C7000 VC with lastest version (4.60) & OneView
If OneView has control, then all other tools do not work anymore.
As said, meanwhile create a custom SPP based on 2017.04, for example and add the newer components.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
