Upgrade the VC 1/10 modules to VC Flex 10.
Hi,
I need to upgrade the VC 1/10 modules to VC Flex 10.
The enclosure is a C7000 with a VC 1/10 in Bay 1, 2 and Bay 5, 6.
Bay 3 and 4 have FC modules in.
The blades are BL460c's.
Is this quite straight forward?
Thanks,

Re: Upgrade the VC 1/10 modules to VC Flex 10.
John,
An earlier thread gave a procedure which, in retrospect proved to have failed. Check this thread for discussion.

Re: Upgrade the VC 1/10 modules to VC Flex 10.
John,
The scripting is relatively straight forward, refer to the VC CLI user guide.
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01881078/c01881078.pdf
or, complain to HP that the documented procedure doesnt work, and you might be able to get them to generate the scripts for you based on a saved configuration file.
Note the most recent version of the upgrade procedure (Jun 2010) is still incorrect.

HTH
Sorry it couldnt be more helpful.
