Upgrading HP BLade BL 465c G7 and G8 to VMware ESXi 5.5 Update 3a ?

People,

I'd like to know what is involved before or during the ESXi 5.1 Update 1 upgrade to VMware ESXi 5.5 Update 3a ?

I'm currently running HP BL 465c G7 & G8 mixed in a c7000 enclosure with Virtual Connect modules, so I wonder if I should worry about firmware using the HP SPP 2015.10 or not needed.
