Virtual connect and Teaming

Hi,
For environment with C700 enclosure and two Virtual connects which Teaming options on Blades may be using ?
From my point of view only NFT option
(Network Fault Tolerance only) is relevant because cross-link exists between two Virtual connects...
Or I am missing something ?

You can use faul tolerance with load balancing too. Find the dokucument "best practices with virtual connect" or something like that =)

Okay ...I'll try to explain how to do it.

easy example, one dedicated network

Create LAN1_A and LAN1_B networks in VC manager.
assign two ports from module1 to LAN1_A and two ports from module2 to LAN1_B.
now You should have two sets of 1GB links with failover.
Same applies to more complicated networks too.

I miss this document in my search.
Did you know about similar document for Nortel (we use Nortel switches) ?

I think same info will aply to Nortel world. Nortel is using more standards based things than Cisco? The document brings differences between Cisco terms and standar terms.

Nortel is a different - use own terms and sometimes special protocols
