Virtual Connect stacking

I have a question regarding stacking between enclosures with Virtual Connect.

HP.com gives conflicting information for this feature.

The main product page for the HP 1/10G Virtual Connect Ethernet Module says:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/blades/components/ethernet/vc/index.html

"Stack multiple Virtual Connect modules together between enclosures to create a domain supporting up to 64 servers"

This implies the feature is shipping and supported.

The QuickSpecs for the same product states:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12597_na/12597_na.html

"Stacking links are used to interconnect Virtual Connect Ethernet Modules when using more than one enclosure (future) or when using more than two Virtual Connect Ethernet Modules in a single enclosure."

This implies the feature is planned but not shipping or supported.

This Virtual Connect primer states:
http://h71028.www7.hp.com/ERC/downloads/4AA0-5821ENW.pdf

"Up to 4 HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures in one Virtual Connect domain (multi-enclosure stacking coming in 1H2008)"

This implies the feature may have shipped or will in the next few weeks? I don't see it mentioned in any release notes for the Virtual Connect firmware updates.

Another Virtual connect primer adds to the confusion:
http://www.zdnetasia.com/techshowcase/hp/bladesystems/series3/pdf/Virtual%20Connect_4AA0-5821ENW.pdf
"Up to 4 HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures in one Virtual Connect domain (enclosure stacking coming in 1H2007)"
This seemd to indicate the feature shipped in 2007. But I don't see it mentioned in any release notes.

Can someone from HP please clarify the ability to physically stack the Virtual Connect modules across enclosures? I understand the ability of Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager to manage multiple modules across enclosures, but I'm interested in the stacking ability.

Additionally, the User Guide for Virtual Connect only provides stacking examples and diagrams for modules within the same enclosure.

Re: Virtual Connect stacking

Jarkko-

Thank you for your response. Is there any documentation or link to verify the feature release?

It appears the Virtual Connect firmware updates are release about every 4 months. That would put the 1.30 release in July?
